Wheeeeew...I've missed a 'few' days!

I'm so sorry, folks! I have let time slip by me and haven't kept y'all up to date! Atkins is going quite well! I have had more salad in the last week than I think I've had all year. Best thing is that I can have a little bit of dressing and as much protein as I want!

When there are days that I'm reeeeeeeeeally just craving something fastfood-ish, I can get a cheeseburger from somewhere and just not eat the bun. Its the little satisfaction that keeps me sane.

With the Atkins diet, you don't weigh daily like with the HCG. So, my new weight/measurement day is going to be on Sundays. So! With that said, most likely I'll only be doing my blogs on Sundays. I won't put what I ate daily but I do promise to put anything that's counted as a 'cheat' (which I'm hoping I won't put until Hawaii....which there may just be LOTS of cheat--mmmmm, Cheeseburger Paradise).

My last weight on Sunday was 242.4. That makes 15 (<---bolded, blinking, neon-sign big) pounds!!

I commented at the beginning that I wasn't going to post a pic until 20 lbs-which I'm still going to do. Just 5 pounds to go!

Day 13 and still kickin'

Awwwwwww...two step forward then one step back!

I was very surprised to see a weight loss yesterday with the new diet. Today....wasn't so surprising.

What I ate:
Breakfast: 2 poached eggs and hot tea
Snack: Atkins cinnamon bar
Lunch: A salad with ground beef, tomato, avocado, shredded cheese, sour cream,and French Fried onions; drank lots of water
Dinner: Salad with ranch and shredded cheese.

Total net carbs for the day: 20.06

Right now in the "Induction Phase," we're supposed to be at 20 net carbs a day with 12-15 of those being foundation veggies. This is the tricky part.

Weight this morning: 242.9 (yesterday was 242.7)
A gain of .2. Its alright, though, I was really expecting that.

Not really looking forward to the meeting with the scale tomorrow. Didn't quite do good with my meals today. Reeeeeeeeeeally need to go grocery shopping.

Day...what is it now...

So mom and I did our first day on Atkins yesterday. There was no 'transition' phase, we jumped right in. And, maaaaaaaaaan, did I feel good. I FEEL like I ate so much but upon adding up all of the net carbs for the day, I was still short.

What I ate yesterday:
Breakfast: Oh wait...read this...I actually ate something. I had 2 scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese, coffee with stevia and some of mom's hazelnut creamer.
Lunch: 200g of beef with some cheese. Sooooo good.
Dinner: I went to Wendy's and got a double cheeseburger and an unsweet tea. Ate the burger without the bun. Soooooooo good.
For a snack after work, I had an Atkins snack bar- Rocky Road. Soooooooo good.

I still drank a lot of water throughout the day, besides the coffee at breakfast and tea at dinner.

I honestly prepared myself to see a weight gain this morning. I knew I had eaten things that were off limits from the HCG diet and I didn't give the HCG time to leave my system. So, with that being said....

Weight yesterday: 244.0
Weight today: 242.7.

I'm currently at 14.7 lbs lost!

And I feel sooooo good!
